This feature focuses on people to make communication easier. Google says this update is making it more people-centric and expressive so that it can prioritize and recognize certain conversations. The notifications in Android 11 beta are divided into three categories like, alerting notifications, conversations, and silent notifications. The alerting notifications section shows information like emails. The conversations section that is on top shows all the chat related notifications and the silent notifications section shows social media updates.
Android 11 beta also introduces chat bubbles, it is a new feature to help you engage and respond with most important conversations without switching between your current task and the messaging app. You can just click the bubble for your conversation from the notification and allow you to multitask without missing any of your work.
Furthermore, when you are using Gboard for typing in Android 11, you will get relevant and automatic suggestions for text as well as for emoji. Google has also implemented an on-device visual cortex for improved voice access.
Google introduces new ways to control your connected devices and media. Android 11 comes with a new power button that gives users the ability to access their connected devices more easily. You can now adjust the temperature, turning on the lights or opening the front door with only one tap without opening multiple apps. Google has also introduced new media controls in Android 11, making it quick and convenient to switch the device your audio and video content is playing on. It is now very easy to bring your music with you from headphones to speakers or even to your Television.
Every Android update comes with new privacy and security controls that let you decide how you can control your data. Google says they added enhanced control over sensitive permissions. Users have the option to give apps one-time access to a microphone, camera, or location, and the app will request you again when you use it for the next time.
Moreover, if you have not used a particular app for an extended time, the system will auto-reset all the permissions associated with that app and notify you for the same.
